  Oh Boy the 1960's all over again. Im with you donuthole. All those nightmares I went through as a child over all this crap. Which sometimes make me think was it the elder who abused me or all the Jehovah is killing everyone that caused my PTSD. I remember the older ones back then seem soo happy about all this and all I could do was seat there and listen to all this abuse. When I think of the Wt. as a cult it is the children that take the biggest brunt of this propaganda crap. I hope all JW parents will lose alot of sleep getting up during the night consoling their poor childrens nightmares and maybe help those parents to think there is something wrong about all this. I feel for all those young children. Still Totally ADD

  Notice the Wt. said "They must have been devastated by his son's death but then they say"What a test of faith it was not to mourn their dead sons". All conjecture on their part. How do they know they did not mourn their sons death? What a bunch of bull hockey. Still Totally ADD

  atheists are people who are "a-" (without) "theism" (a belief in god).

  they are not "athiests"; they are not "athier" than everyone else, nor is "athy" a word.. .

  this isn't aimed at anyone in particular, but it's a mistake i see every day on here and i thought it might be nice to have a topic we can bump just to periodically remind people of the proper spelling, especially since they are sometimes referring to their very own beliefs.

  Are you Reopened Mind in disguise? As many may know I am the worst speller in the world but my wife is the Webster dictionary reincarnated. After all her maiden name was Webster and yes she is a distance relative. This subject just struck me funny and yes it is important to spell correctly. Still Totally ADD

  my mentally in jw wife is trying to organize a "princess party" for my 4 year old daughter and her little cousins and friends.

  she was looking at prices of a tent for the backyard party in case it rains.

  she asked the hardware store how much and they said 90 dollars for the day.

  My wife and I for years bent over back wards for our kids and grand kids and now they will not speak to us because we don't believe the cult anymore. Maybe we should have treated them like shit. By doing that they would have listen to us. Sorry subjects like this just brings up sour feeling with me. Still Totally ADD

  I can't believe what I just saw. Ten years ago that would have been considered loose conduct and everyone could have been DF. My dad in rolling in his grave now.   i am sure this topic has probably been discussed many times before but,......... i would like reassurance that i am not the only one who gagged every time i heard a jw pontificating on their fantasy version of what "paradise" will be like.

  particularly when it comes to the animals.

  more specifically, that the animals will all become vegetarians.

  DFTS I hate to say it but yes I did. Being a born in that was all I knew and I was taught never to questioned the Wt. It was not until many years later did I start looking at things in a new light. LOL Still Totally ADD
